Do I have to be skinny and flexible to do yoga ?.
Anyone can do yoga. Fitness level, size, shape, physical health, age, these things do not matter when it comes to yoga. Yoga is Anahata "self-acceptance" and working with your body, no matter what it looks like. Every class is about being uniquely you and practicing in a way that is right for your body. We are all different and we celebrate that.
Do I need fancy yoga clothes to practice yoga ?
Never. Clothing that is not restrictive and allows you to go with the flow is all you need. Yoga is done barefoot, no expensive footwear required. Comfy clothes, a mat, and a bottle of water.
Do I need to begin in a beginner class ?
All of our trained and certified yoga teachers create their classes so that all levels can participate. All yoga postures have modifications for those with different levels, abilities and health concerns. Every posture has a modification for someone who has never done yoga before and for those who have. Our amazing teachers always teach for those in the studio. Please chat with us so we can make your experience the best ever!
If I have an injury should I wait to begin yoga?
A Yoga Tune Up Class or a therapeutic basics class is probably just what you need. Please read our classes descriptions and call the studio so we may suggest the best class for you. You will so happy you did and you will begin to heal too!

The final resting pose, not nap time but time to allow your body and mind to absorb the benefits of your yoga practice. Please know you will grow to love it and feel amazing benefits from those quiet moments on your mat.
